With the new consoles on the imminent horizon it seems a goodtime to think about what I’d like to see in next gen games, which in turn got me thinking about the factors I find most annoying in games today. Here are my top Five most annoying gaming features:

Number 5-Bad Cameras:
Great games are completely Unplayable because of bad Camera Angles. No matter wether you Play with a Keyboard or a Joystick, the cameras always sucks in Games like Batman Vengeance. Because of bad Camera angles in some Games you lose your precious hard Battles that are completed.

Number 4 – Unskippable cut-scenes:
When you reload you are forced to rewatch the cut scene that you’ve seen already, why can’t I skip it!? I’m here to play the game not be bored for five minutes whilst I watch a poorly scripted and non interactive animated movie. I get the feeling that half of the game developers out there would rather be making films. The reboot of Mortal Kombat was the worst offender; I never managed to complete the story mode as I couldn’t face watching the cut scenes again, and again, and again.

The latest sales figures of 2.2 million devices announced by Sony don't seem to be meaning well for the company. Especially if we take into account that the 1.8-million point of that total number was already reached in May. Some simple arithmetics makes for 400 thousand PS Vita units in the third quarter of 2012, which is extremely low even in comparison to the sales of Nintendo 3Ds, the Sony handheld's main rival released in February 2011, which sold over 3.5 million units in less than 3 months since it came to the market.

If you are thinking of buying a new computer for gaming, think twice, Because Gaming Consoles rule here.So Why would people buy a game console instead of a computer? There are several reasons:
  • A video game console is less expensive than a tricked-out computer designed to run video games. Current generation consoles cost between $200 to $500, whereas a fully-loaded gaming computer can cost more than $10,000.
  • Consoles tend to load games faster than most PCs -- expensive gaming computer rigs are the exception, of course.
  • Video game systems are designed to be part of your entertainment system. This means that they are easy to connect to your TV and stereo.
  • There are no compatibility issues, such as operating system, DirectX drivers, correct audio card, supported game controller, resolution and so on.
  • Game developers know exactly what components are in each system, so games are written to take full advantage of the hardware.
  • The degree of technical knowledge required to set up and use it is much lower. Most game consoles are truly "plug and play."
  • Most video game systems have games that allow multiple players. This is a difficult process with a typical home computer.
So, which one would you prefer? Comment your thoughts below. Hope you enjoyed this post. Subscribe for more posts straight on your inbox.

There is something undeniably Orwellian about Google Earth. Type in your home address and the camera swoops down from the stratosphere to display a clear aerial shot of your house. Zoom in closer and you can make out the pink rhododendron on your front lawn and your car in the driveway. You half expect to zoom into the living room window and see yourself sitting at your computer. Wave to the camera!
The myth about Google Earth is that it's the world's most powerful real-time spy camera. The truth is that every image you see on Google Earth is an average of one to three years old [source: Google Earth]. Google collects and composites images from satellite and aerial imaging companies like DigitalGlobe and Tele Atlas, as well as from government agencies and the armed forces.
So yes, it's possible to get caught on camera by Google Earth, but that would take an incredible amount of luck.
The "Street View" option on Google Maps has also come under fire from privacy advocates who believe it also functions as a spy camera. But once again, the images are only updated once every few years. Plus, Google has devised a face-blurring algorithm to protect the anonymity of folks accidentally captured on camera.

Google has a lot of technology. So it wouldn't take away people's privacy just like that. Thats why, there are still no substitute to Google Maps or Google Earth!

Touch-screen monitors have become more and more commonplace as their price has steadily dropped over the past decade. There are three basic systems that are used to recognize a person's touch:
  • Resistive
  • Capacitive
  • Surface acoustic wave
The resistive system consists of a normal glass panel that is covered with a conductive and a resistive metallic layer. These two layers are held apart by spacers, and a scratch-resistant layer is placed on top of the whole setup. An electrical current runs through the two layers while the monitor is operational. When a user touches the screen, the two layers make contact in that exact spot. The change in the electrical field is noted and the coordinates of the point of contact are calculated by the computer. Once the coordinates are known, a special driver translates the touch into something that the operating system can understand, much as a computer mouse driver translates a mouse's movements into a click or a drag.

Lots of home video games and arcade games use some sort of gun as an input device. You point the gun at the screen and pull the trigger, and if you hit the target on the screen, the target explodes.
To create this effect, the gun contains a photodiode (or a phototransistor) in the barrel. The photodiode is able to sense light coming from the screen. The gun also contains a trigger switch. The output of the photodiode and the switch are fed to the computer controlling the game.
At the same time, the computer is getting signals from the screen driver electronics. If you have Know  How Television Works, you know about the horizontal retrace and vertical retrace signals used to align the picture on the screen. The screen driver electronics send pulses to the computer at the start of the horizontal and vertical retrace signals, so the computer knows where on the screen the electron beam is located during each frame.
The computer normally uses one of two different techniques to figure out whether or not the gun is pointed at the target when the user pulls the trigger:
  • The computer blanks the screen and then paints just the target object white. If the photodiode senses darkness after one vertical retrace signal and then light after the next, the computer assumes that the gun is pointed at the target and scores a hit.
  • The computer blanks the screen and then paints the entire screen white. It takes time for the electron beam to trace the entire screen while painting it white. By comparing the signal coming from the photodiode with the horizontal and vertical retrace signals, the computer can detect where the electron beam is on the screen when the photodiode first senses its light. The computer counts the number of microseconds that pass between the time the horizontal and vertical retrace signals start and the time the photodiode first senses light. The number of microseconds tells the computer exactly where on the screen the gun is pointing. If the calculated position and the position of the target match, the computer scores a hit.

Maybe to help dispel the wacky notion that geeks are boring, or maybe to prove that Search isn’t all work and no play and Sergei and Larry are by no means dull boys, Google every-once-in-a-Google-Moon leavens their spam-fighting and user experience-enhancing with some honest-to-goodness, good clean Fun Google Tricks.
You probably know a few of these memes already — passed around the intarwebz ad infinitum as they often are — those quirky little tricks and pranks you never thought you’d see from such a serious search engine. Occasionally, we searchers stumble upon some quietly placed “Google Easter Egg,” or sometimes Google’s PR peeps publicize some brand spanking new Fun Google trick that spices up the user experience as much as it enhances it. Whichever it is, these Google Tricks are fun darnit, so have fun with them.
Meme junkies and time-wasters that we are here at Google Tricks, we’ve had our fair share of good times. And because we’re not greedy, and because we like to organize as a way to procrastinate, we’ve done the heavy lifting of gathering what we consider to be the Top 25 Fun Google tricks right here in one glorious and easy-to-read location on this page. If you like the cut of our jib, perhaps you’d be so kind as to like us on the you-know-what-book, or add a one to our G+ thingie. We’d be so happy and thankful if you did.
funny google gravity trick1. Google Gravity
Quite simply, this is Earth-bound physics “infused” into Google’s interface: with “gravity,” the visual elements you commonly find on the interface, such as the search bar, the “I’m feeing lucky” button, and everything else fall down like a stack of bricks on the bottom of the browser. You can even “pick up” and “throw” the search results at the “walls” or just simply mess with them. This is no longer implemented on Google, but you can still see how it worked through the link below.

The Optimus Maximus keyboard which cost appropriately $1600 can do things you could have hardly imgagined that a Keyboard can! The board has 133 buttons featuring an Embedded microchip and an OLED display in each key! Yes, users can assign what keys can do and the special one is you can even set an icon which will be displayed on the specified button! That means if you set a button only for opening web browser, the board has the capablity of displaying the browser icon on the OLED display on the specified key. Well with this keyboard, users can have hours of fun on a dark room! But this keyboard consumes a lot of power ie.90 volts! And the last one is that the keyboard features colored display!!
